Fumes emitted from overheated
nonstick (Teflon) coating cookware can kill your bird in minutes. Tobacco
smoke is extremely harmful, as are fumes from cleaning products, nail polish,
glue, hairspray ect. If you can detect an odor do not use that product around
your birds. Below is a list to help you identify products that may be toxic to
your birds. Remember this is not a complete list. Just because it is
not on here doesn't mean it is not deadly to your birds, use your common sense
and if ever in doubt whether an item is safe better to err on the side of
caution.
